I'm not sure if they have new management, but the last two times we have been here the food has been dry and old and the bathrooms have been dirty and the staff have been unfriendly. I love garbanzo as a whole, but I will stay away from this specific location.
The food is great but the line takes a while
We have had the best experiences here. Shawn is outstanding, extremely polite and so genuine! That’s hard to find these days! This food is quality and the service is amazing! We will always come back!
If you've had real Mediterranean food before, you'll realize just how poor the quality of food is here. Amusingly, one of the first reviews I read right before writing this was spot on with my biggest complaint (by Ian): "The gyro is burnt". I dont know how they manage this, but the gyro is absolutely flavorless and burnt on 1 side to an unpleasant, crunchy texture. Tzatziki sauce and hummus were bad too. The service by a bearded fellow just felt rushed and unfriendly in all aspects. I try to find some redeeming quality in all places, but this location honestly has none. Dont go here.
I have been going to this location for many years and the quality of food, service, atmosphere has continued to decline. After learning about the opening of a new location, I was ecstatic, hoping this location was going to be better. I ordered a "bowl",(the plate is not available at this location). I was given such small portions that my bowl was not even half the way full. When I got in my car with my order, I noticed there was funny smell and pulled out a burnt pita. I have given the new location three different chances, in hopes of having a good experience. Each time has been a worse experience than I had at the previous location. This was my favorite "go to" place for a quick lunch and I'm going to have a to find a better spot after too many let downs.
Great veggie options. Food is very good.
We came in 20 minutes before they closed and they were still super friendly and kind. The customer service and food is absolutely amazing. This is definitely a place I will be coming back to
The food is good but they always run out of grilled veggies, kids grill pitta and the white sauce. Been there twice right before 7:00 in the evening.
The food was great, and Sean makes lunch a real treat! One of the nicest people I've met working at a restaurant.
I feel like this is the equivalent to Subway for Mediterranean food. But the food is really good! The staff are friendly and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried.
Terrible! I normally go there once or twice a week to get 3 orders for me and my family, always around 840pm-845pm. Tonight was no different except that when I got there, around 840pm the manager looked at me as if asking "what the hell are you doing here". I had already notice that when we get there at that time they are already cleaning and ready to go home. Trust me, I understand that feeling! But in the other hand, if you are a service provider, you should provide the service you are promissing. If you want to go home earlier, change your closing time and close earlier. Treating a costumer bad because is 20 minutes from closing time and you don't want to get your dishes dirty is ridiculous! Not going back there again :(
Such a delicious alternative to your normal "fast food" options and for being an avid carnivore, their falafel is amazing!
This is the worst garbanzos location I’ve ever been to. When you order a plate you get half the amount of food as usual. They didn’t chop up the onions hardly at all. I just had two golf ball chunks of onions in my plate. Also put the wrong kind of sauce on my door dash order.... I don’t know why this location can’t seem to get it together.
Ethan is super awesome! Great customer service, will definitely be back.
Was very hopeful a couple months ago when they brought in new management and staff. Rachel really was focused on customer satisfaction, consistency in the portions/experience and staff retention. Found out she is already gone. Portions back to slight and longer wait. Food always tastes good.
This place is really good. My first time or so I don't think got the right meat. Now that I've been getting the steak pita. I can't get enough of this place. I recommend coming when they first open. The pita bread is so good and if you sign up for their email club they have lots of great BOGOs and offers.😀
The Mediterranean food options are good and tasty and healthy. The humus portion has been reduced and the spoon is just a pallet to smir a little bit so you have to ask for more. The men's Bathroom was not very clean.
Food was fine but the place was pretty dirty.. they put my plate on a gross dirty tray and most the tables were dirty too. Had trouble finding a place we felt comfortable eating at
My family and I are big fans of Garbanzo's! This location has always done a good job on our entire experience. Hummus.... yes please!
So delicious! Items clearly marked vegan!! Very vegan friendly. Decent prices also. I get the pita plate everytime and it's like 2 meals. Can never go wrong here!
Garbanzos as a whole is awesome. This location isnt. The staff is never that friendly and the food tastes off.
Pretty much the worst location I have been to. The Gyro meat is always burnt to a point you cant chew it. The main manager hates her job and that is passed on to the customers. The rest of the staff is super friendly. Very skimpy on all proteins.
Love the place. Really fresh food and no long waits.
Do not order door dash from garbanzos it will be wrong. One plate is missing the rice I ordered, the other is missing the hummus I ordered and we didn't get any pitas.. you have to go to the site to get a decent plate. And don't try to call to get it fixed because even though they put the food together wrong for the door dash driver to pick up, it's not garbanzos problem..
To be fair, I only ever go to this location, and I need to learn my lesson and just stop. The food used to be great two years ago, but it THE WORST now. The steak is either chunks of fat or chunks of beef jerky, the lettuce is turning, it's just awful. Save yourself the heartache.
I have no complaints. Seemed the same as every other Garbanzos. I did go at a non busy time and they seemed slow to help me. But they were friendly and food was good as always.
Awesome place! Pretty good portions for the dollarage you pay. Steven was incredibly friendly and nice, and he knew a lot about what the different items were made of, so that was neat. The table we sat at was a bit dirty, but no problem. And the food was good! Will certainly return again!
My wife and I love this place, great food, fast service, and the staff is always nice and willing to answer questions and help.
Awful. Cold, hard falafel. My order was wrong.
Worst Garbanzo I've ever been to. I love Garbanzos and this location is nothing like the others. When we first got here, the door was locked. We thought it was closed and had to call and find out they were open. The gyro meat was cold and hard. The falafels tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. They were also out of toppings and instead of refilling they all went and hung out in the back. The employees seem miserable and were so unhelpful, specifically our host Hallie. It seemed like they wanted to rush us out as soon as they could. We felt uncomfortable eating in the restaurant. Such a shame. I would never come back to this location.
The worst garbanzos I've ever been too. First off, we walked up at 3:50 in the afternoon and the doors were locked. We eventually got inside, and you can feel how miserable the staff were, it ruined the whole atmosphere. The gyro meat was burnt, cold, and old. Not fresh at all. They didn't even have any red onion prepared, the restaurant was empty!! Save your money and go to another garbanzo's location. The experience you will get here is not what a normal garbanzo's experience is. So disappointed. One of the workers Hallie was laughing at the man's order behind me, I watched her laugh and roll her eyes.
Love Garbanzos! This location is sometimes a bummer especially when the gal with the redish dyed hair and septum piercing is working. Not very personable and last night our gyro pita received 2 small pieces of meat from her. Cool. Will not be back to this location unfortunately.
Delicious and great service. The baklava does not disappoint.
Great, Mediterranean-esque food, in a style much like Chipotle or Qdoba. Every food is labeled with dietary concerns, such as vegan or gluten-free. This location is particularly great, however, because of Freddy. He was very helpful while we ordered food and even offered to register my rewards card for me so I could get a discount on future purchases, which took him quite a few minutes.
The food was fresh and very tasty like all Garbanzos.. The inside was very clean, however the people who worked there did not have the best attitude. Maybe I went on a bad day, but I felt like I was bothering them every time I added something to my order
This location is so dirty. There were no clean tables, the walls are dirty, even the art on the wall is dirty. My food was horrible. Nothing was warmed, my pita wasnt warmed. The cucumbers in the salad were brown. The only saving grace were the fries because they were fresh, but when i went to grab ketchup packets, about 5 were stuck together by...who knows what honestly. There was no tea. And to top it off the service was horrible. Very disappointed.
I used to love Garbanzo. This new location has friendly staff but the quality of the food has declined. I ordered a chicken pita. My free falafel was rock hard. The pita bread is hard and not true pita bread. My pickled onions come with a ball of frozen ice that I bit into. Also I wanted a plate but this is off the menu now. The quality of the ingredients makes me not want to come back.
I have given this location many attempts, but sadly every time I have gone in the staff and food has disappointed me and my family. See.s to have new employees that are training always on the line and very under trained. Manager seemed annoyed to help the new employees. Very little knowledge on how to make their own food items and the portion are not even close to being consistent. Terrible location and we will not be going back sad to say.
I was the only person in the place, during the dinner hour. Was barely acknowledged, staff proceeded to go in the back. I stood around for awhile, but eventually realized they did not want my business, so I ended up eating at a different nearby restaurant who actually wanted to give me food in exchange for money.
Theres better out there but these guys aren't terrible by any means
I am feeling so lucky to have discovered this Garbanzo! I have a gluten and a dairy allergy so finding places to eat at are next to impossible. I had never been to a Garbanzo before and really have never eaten Mediterranean food but decided to give it a shot. Hannah was patient and VERY knowledgeable about what I could and couldn't eat here. Great experience, yummy food...I will be returning!
This place is meh. I've stopped in a couple times and found that the workers seem distracted and not quite sure how to put together the items on the menu. The last time I stopped in I ordered a plate option and the worker put very little of each item I requested on my plate (had two pieces of meat and a dusting of red cabbage)
Not clean and the service was poor. The guy at the counter couldn’t explain options very well. Forgot pitas. Drink area really dirty. No one was in there so it wasn’t busy. They have chicken kabobs on menu but the guy said they didn’t have those. Just not a good experience sorry to say.
Good food and friendly staff. The new location is really nice.
Love the Littleton location because they are really friendly and give good portions.
Placed an ordered and payed on line for two meals. The lady handed me the bag and said she had just finished completing the order. I said, thank you and out the door I went. Got home and the wife hit the roof. Her meal was missing the Extra Gero and also missing were the 2 x extra peta breads. My advice, Check your bag twice for EVERYTHING you ordered. If you didn’t see them put it in there it isn’t — until you checked. First place I have been ripped off with an order to go.
I have Celiac disease (allergy to gluten) and Monte, Nakeem, David & Isaiah all deserve praise and a raise. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Made sure to not cross contaminate my food with anything else, knew exactly what was safe and what wasn't for me. Will definitely be back. Have had nothing but great experiences at my previous local Garbanzo, excited to have found another location near my new house that has the same quality prices and customer service as the last one.
Knowledgeable staff and fresh food made this a healthy and memorable lunch choice. They gladly provided me with samples and descriptions of each item before I ordered. Also, the facility was clean and featured upbeat music that my wife and baby girl enjoyed. I wish there were more of these near my home in Aurora, IL.
